Organisation and costs of of Practicals
During your Ghana stay you will live in our Rainbow Garden Village Guesthouse close to Kumasi at the lake Bosumtwi with other participants. Our Rainbow staff is there for you almost 24/7. You will take your meals to you on our veranda under our round shack in the garden or on our platform at the water. Tip: The people from Ghana like there food very spicy. That’s why its helpful to ask how spicy the food is while ordering.
In our “Village” you will quickly feel comfortable. And you can take part on many activities.
Our own little beach as well as our recreational facilities and national parks in the area will make your practical training stay to an adventure.
You will notice very fast that time in Ghana is something else. In Ghana everything works better slow and calm. Being on time seems to be something they don’t know. “Don’t worry be happy” or “soon come” will soon become one of your most used wordplays.
All our Ghana practical trainings will take place in the close area to the lake Bosumtwi and can be absolved without any pre-experience in these jobs.
Daily Schedule
On workdays from Monday through Friday you will absolve your practical training. After breakfast at Rainbow Garden Village a driver will take you to your practical training and bring you back as well The practical training usually begins between 8 and 10 o’clock. The exact work hours you will discuss with your mentor personally. After your practical training your spare time begins. You have the option to return directly to Rainbow Garden Village or got to Kumasi or visit other close by attractions. The weekends can be used for bigger excursions and expeditions to the national parks.
Included in your practical training is a two day camping adventure-tour along the lake Bosumtwi
