Entertainment Program and activities at Lake Bosumtwi

Rainbow Garden Village offers many leisure time activities. We want to offer you a wide variety of Ghanaian culture and entertainment. That's why all activities and workshops are conducted by locals. So, on the one hand the inhabitants of Lake Bosumtwe are an essential part of our project, and on the other you can be sure to have an authentic experience. Come and discover a multifaceted and impressive Ghana with us.    Rainbow Garden Village, a place for shiny happy people.

Rainbow Cooking Workshop

 

Our cooking workshop, a tangible offer. Let our chefs show you the traditional African art of cooking in the "outdoor" kitchen. You can choose to cook Fufu or Banku yourself. Afterwards, you will enjoy your self-prepared meal together with our chefs.


 

Rainbow Dancing Workshop & Bonfire Night 

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we celebrate our Rainbow Bonfire Night with you. At the camp fire, our Rainbow Voices will show you African dances, accompanied by live music.

Rainbow Culture Workshop


Our guides take you to the small village of Anyiniatiase. There you will experience an encounter with the village elders and get some insights into old Ghanaian traditions and lifestyle. 

      Rainbow Adventure Hike

Rainbow guides lead you around Lake Bosumtwi on adventurous pathways. You will travel a distance of approximately 45 km on this adventure tour. We set up camp for you on the opposite side of the lake. You are sure to make some impressive photos.

Bosumtwi Boat Tour

 You will travel along the shores of Lake Bosumtwi with our motorboat. Among the possible destinations are one of the 24 villages, Bamboo Valley and the Lake Bosumtwi laguna.

 


 

             Bosumtwi Fishing Workshop 

Local fishermen accompany you on a fishing tour. First you learn how to ride a traditional raft. Catching fish with a cast-net is an art of its own.

 Bosumtwi Bird Watching 

 

The Yellow Oriole nests at the Rainbow Garden Village Guesthouse from July until August. The bird colony consists of up to several hundred birds. The birds nest right in front of our porch and can be watched undisturbed.
